5  cloves garlic, minced

½  teaspoon kosher salt

½  teaspoon ground black pepper

2  tablespoons water

1½ tablespoons cornstarch

½  cup sliced green onion

Prep Tip: Don't have these ingredients on hand? No problem! Substitute your favorite vegetable for sugar snap peas, such as broccoli florets, thin green beans, or sliced zucchini.

Directions

1In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add peas; cook until charred and crisp, 4 to 5 minutes. Using tongs, carefully transfer peas to a plate, and set aside.
2In same skillet, heat remaining 1 tablespoon oil over medium-high heat. Add turkey, and cook, stirring occasionally and breaking into pieces, until crisp and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Remove turkey from skillet and set aside.
3In same skillet, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper, stirring until brown sugar dissolves.
4In small bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons water and cornstarch until well combined. Stir cornstarch mixture into soy sauce mixture. Bring to a boil, and let cook until thickened, at least 1 minute. Remove from heat. Return turkey and peas to skillet, tossing to coat well. Top your ground turkey stir fry with green onion. Garnish with lime wedges, if desired.
