Ingredients

TURKEY TACO FILLING

1/4 cup olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup green onions, diced green and white

1/2 cup onions, diced

1 lb. Farm to Family ground turkey

1 jalapeño per taco, or to taste; seeds and stems removed, diced small

1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder

2 tsp. toasted ground cumin

1 tsp. dry oregano leaves

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. sea salt

1 cup enchilada sauce

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup jack cheese, shredded

Directions

1In a heavy-duty sauté pan, heat oil. Then lightly brown the ground turkey. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add onions and sauté for 2 minutes.
2Add jalapeños, chili powder, cumin, oregano, black pepper and salt. Stir and blend well.
3Add enchilada sauce then Simmer for 5–10 minutes (filling must be moist, but not saucy).
4Remove from heat and add raisins and shredded cheese. Blend well.
5Serve with taco shells (3 oz of Taco Filling per taco) and garnish with your favorite toppings. Some of our favorites include sour cream, fresh cilantro, shredded cheeses (cheddar and jack are great!), diced tomatoes, chopped green onions, chopped jalapeños and salsa.
